Propulsion defeats Bold Eagle in Prix de Bourgogne
Propulsion, driven by Ôrjan Kihlström and trained by Daniel Redén, was an easy winner of the third qualifying race for the Prix d’Amerique, the Prix de Bourgogne, raced Sunday (Dec. 31) at Vincennes. Propulsion, who is sired by Muscle Hill and out of 2007 Hambletonian Oaks winner Danae, was bred by Fredericka V. Caldwell and Bluestone Farms.

Lexington, KY --- The third and last preliminary leg of the Kentucky Sires Stakes (KYSS) for freshman trotters went forth on Thursday night (Sept. 7) at The Red Mile.
Trotting fillies got the program underway in race two with Deschanel winning for the first time in 1:57. Driver Jeff Gregory moved her first-over past the half, was clear by the 1:27.2 third station then Deschanel poured it on moving away from her rivals to an easy win. Bob Stewart trains the homebred Yankee Glide filly out of Danae for owners Fredericka Caldwell and Bluestone Farms.
Sorcha Bluestone's colt Simple Kinda Man won the Battle of Waterloo
August 7 - After only winning one of his first five career starts, M and L of Delaware, LLC’s Simple Kinda Man ($16.50) sprung a 7-1 minor upset in the $200,200 Battle of Waterloo on Monday afternoon (August 7) at Grand River Raceway, using a steady first-over push to grind down 9-5 favourite Burning Midnight and evade 40-1 longshot Hudson Phil in 1:55.
Propulsion sets 1:49.3 Swedish mark
July 25 - Propulsion, a 6-year-old stallion by Muscle Hill-Danae, bred by Rikki Caldwell of Cane Run Farm and Bluestone Farms, set a Swedish record of 1:49.3 when he won the Hugo Aberg Memorial on Tuesday night at the five-eighths mile Jagersro track in Malmo, Sweden. The Bluestone Farms mare Danae 3, 1:54.2M ($529,099) Andover Hall - Deanella Hanover foaled a full brother to Propulsion, a Muscle HIll colt on March 10.

Always Be Miki named 2016 Horse of the Year
Dec. 19 2016 --- Five-year-old stallion Always B Miki on Monday was named harness racing’s Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year by the U.S. Harness Writers Association while 3-year-old colt Marion Marauder was named Trotter of the Year in the closest vote in the 46-year history of the award.
