Twin B Senorita, who was bred by Embro, Ontario’s Twinbrook Farm, became the season’s fastest two-year-old trotter when she won a qualifier in 2:00 yesterday at Pocono Downs.

With Ray Schnittker at the helm, the rookie daughter of Credit Winner – Senorita Sierra sat in the pocket for much of the mile before coming out in the lane and catching Premiere Lady by a head for the win. Twin B Senorita trotted the final quarter in 29.4.

Owned by Blue Chip Partners of Wallkill, N.Y., Twin B Senorita was a $65,000 yearling purchase at last year’s Harrisburg Sale.

Art Major was the image of dominance in last night’s $824,000 Canadian Pacing Derby at Woodbine, winning the stakes classic with ease in 1:49.1.

With John Campbell at the helm, the champion established an immediate lead as the gate swung away, holding his advantage at every pole to win by two open lengths. Four Starzzz Shark closed in the lane to finish second, while pocket-sitter McArdle could manage only third.

Queen Of Jewels ran down heavy favourite For The Luva Moni in the lane last night to win her first Ontario Sires Stakes Gold final of the season at Woodbine.

Veteran reinsman Steve Condren gave the three-year-old daughter of King Conch a perfect second-over trip. The Queen did the rest. She trotted up alongside For The Luva Moni in the stretch and collared her with a sixteenth of a mile to trot, stopping the clock in a lifetime best 1:56.2 over the rain-soaked track. Wescott finished third.

Owned by Gary Smith of Burlington, J. Peter Kloepfer of Harley and trainer Carman Hie of Rockwood, Ontario, the race marked the first time Queen Of Jewels has ever beaten For The Luva Moni. Queen Of Jewels now has three wins in seven starts this season for earnings of more than $130,000.
Queen of Jewels was sold by Twinbrook Farms at the Classic in 2001.

It's Harmony & Heroes (courtesy of www.standardbredcanada.ca)August 16, 2002

Northern Harmony and Tribute To Heroes were the victors in the two $95,300 Robert Stewart Stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies at Woodbine tonight.

The first division saw favorite Fan For Life have her winning streak stopped at three as Mario Baillargeon slipped Tribute To Heroes up the rail to nail down the win in 1:54.4. It was the first win this year for the Run The Table miss who's been knocking at the door in five previous tries. The effort puts her earnings well over the $100,000 mark for trainer Ben Wallace and owner Jeff Langfelder of Altanta, Ga.

It was very tight for second with Did Dits (Pacific Fella) prevailing over Rustleyourfeathers (Rustler Hanover). Fan For Life was fourth.

A thrilling stretch drive between two determined fillies highlighted the second split with Northern Harmony being declared the winner in the photo in the 1:55 effort. It was the seventh win in eight starts for the Run The Table daughter trained by Bill Robinson for Gerrie Tucker, P.Q., Sampson Street Stables, Pa., Don Bray and Angleo Dinardo, Ont.

Armbro Amoretto (Artsplace) had to be content with the bridesmaid's role this night and Ground Level (Matts Scooter) completed the top three.

Tribute To Heroes
was Jeff Langfelder's purchase from us at the 2001 Canadian Classic. Congratulations Jeff!
